his jam makes a very unique gift from the Midwest! Mangoey, pineappley, bananaey…. pawpaw (Asimina triloba) is in the tropical plant family called custard apple. This species is the only temperate member of the family, left over from the tropical biome that was once in the Midwest. We harvest both wild and cultivar fruits from the area (sometimes as far as Ohio) and turn it into a lovely jam. Wild pawpaw can have a musky aftertaste, but our special recipe removes most of that so you only get the tropical brightness!

Each 4oz jar contains a labor of love, a bit of our community, and is part of a small, handcrafted batch.
