This User Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions for small businesses ("Small Business") to sell products on the eCommerce site provided by the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce ("eCommerce Site"). By agreeing to these terms, the Small Business acknowledges and accepts the following:

Location: The Small Business must be based in Champaign County.

Legality: The Small Business must be legally registered and compliant with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Product Category: The Small Business must sell products that are legal and do not promote hate, violence, or discrimination.

Product Quality: The Small Business must sell products that are of high quality and meet customer expectations.

Availability: The Small Business must be able to provide a sufficient inventory of products for sale on the eCommerce Site.

Shipping: The Small Business must be able to ship products to customers in a timely and reliable manner.

Communication: The Small Business must be responsive and able to communicate with customers in a timely manner.

Images: The Small Business must provide clear and high-quality images of their products for display on the eCommerce Site.

Pricing: The Small Business must set prices that are competitive and reasonable for their products.

Agreement: The Small Business must agree to the terms and conditions of the eCommerce Site and abide by its policies and guidelines.

Product Information: The Small Business must provide accurate and detailed information about their products, including materials, dimensions, care instructions, etc.

Brand Identity: The Small Business must have a clear brand identity and story that is communicated effectively on the eCommerce Site.

Social Responsibility: The Small Business should demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility and ethical business practices.

Reviews: The Small Business should be open to receiving reviews and feedback from customers and be willing to use this feedback to improve their products and services.

Financial Stability: The Small Business should demonstrate financial stability and be able to manage their finances effectively.

Technical Requirements: The Small Business must have the technical capability to operate on the eCommerce platform, such as access to a computer, internet connection, and ability to upload products and manage orders.

Payments: The Small Business must be able to accept payments securely and efficiently. The eCommerce Site will provide a secure payment gateway to process transactions and protect customers' sensitive financial information. The Small Business must also have a valid and secure verified PayPal account to receive payments from customers. Additionally, the Small Business must be able to manage and track their transactions and reconcile their accounts in a timely and accurate manner.

Expenses: The Small Business is responsible for their own fees for shipping and submitting taxes. Shipping fees will vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of the product. The Small Business must determine the appropriate shipping fees to charge customers. Additionally, the Small Business must manage their own taxes and ensure the correct tax payments are submitted to the appropriate authorities. The Chamber requires proof of the vendor’s Certificate of Registration for Sales/Use Tax, also known as Retailers’ Occupation Tax to ensure that the vendor is able to collect and remit appropriate taxes to the Illinois Department of Revenue.

By using the eCommerce Site, the Small Business agrees to hold the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce harmless from any legal action, claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, or losses arising out of or in connection with their use of the eCommerce Site.

The Small Business acknowledges that the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to modify or terminate this Agreement at any time. It is the responsibility of the Small Business to review this Agreement periodically and ensure compliance with the most current version.
